Artists’ Trail Children’s Workshops
During school breaks, The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas, holds Artists’ Trail Workshops for students 7 to 12 years of age. These workshops focus on famous artists and their unique styles. The Museum has access to some of the top Western American contemporary artists in the country. Accomplished sculptors and painters who live in the area demonstrate their talents, and increase students’ awareness of art as a career.

Teachers’ Workshops
We invite art educators and teachers supporting the arts to attend our workshops, whose purpose is to spread the joy and importance of art throughout our Hill Country communities. Workshops feature hands-on art activities, lesson plans, and introduction to the use of new media. These workshops have been approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
