Join Cowboy Artists of America member Jack Sorenson for this fun filled three-day workshop. The focus of the workshop will be how to put your heart into your art. Jack will focus on teaching great composition, the use of color and telling stories with your art.

Sketch Pad (Whatever size you like)

Notepad (In case I say something important)

Two canvases or canvas boards (16x20 or smaller)

Odorless mineral spirits (I use Gamsol)

Whatever brushes and palette knives you like

Paper Towels

Palette

Bring several reference photos to paint from. (You can paint whatever you want, but I can help you most with horses, cattle, buffalo, etc. I enjoy landscapes and skyscapes.)

Bring whatever paints you use. These are the paints I use:

Titanium White

Ultramarine Blue

Alizarin Crimson

Cadmium Red Light

Cadmium Orange

Cadmium Yellow Light

Raw Sienna,

Burnt Sienna

Burnt Umber, and

Viridian.
11. If you want to bring two or three of your finished paintings, I'll be glad to critique them for you.
